Use this alongside your shortlist
Work through the checks before placing an order, then return to the final group when the appliance arrives. A checked item means you have verified it for the particular model and seller; it is not a certification by this site. For example, check the delivery-route item only after measuring the narrowest doorway and discussing the route with the delivery team. An illustrative plan might leave the rebate item unchecked until the program administrator confirms the model and purchase date.
What gets saved
Only the checked state is saved in local storage on this browser. It is not sent to a server, shared with a seller or synchronized between devices. Use Reset to clear the progress, or clear browser site data. Private browsing or restricted storage may prevent persistence; the checklist still works during the visit.
When to stop
Leave uncertain items unchecked. A missing installation requirement, unresolved safety recall or unclear return condition deserves an answer before payment. Have a qualified installer assess utility changes rather than using this list as installation instructions.
Prepare old appliances and electronics for an appropriate local collection route, with account removal, data checks and careful battery and refrigerant handling.
Assess an open-box or refurbished appliance using its exact identity, condition, included parts, warranty, return terms and complete ready-to-use cost.
Collect the model identity, installed quote, warranty, recall check and seller terms so your appliance purchase rests on documents rather than assumptions.
Check the program administrator, exact eligible model, purchase and installation rules, application timing and payment process before counting an appliance rebate.
Match a product to CPSC recall notices using model, serial and other identifiers, then follow the official remedy instead of guessing from a brand name.
